







Our organic Matcha green tea is a healthy and delicious ground tea, which dissolves into a delicious frothy tea when hot water is added.
Our Matcha is grown organically in Nanshan Village tea plantation, in Hangzhou, China. Three to four weeks prior to harvest, the tea plants are covered with shade which encourages extra chlorophyll to build up in the leaves. Once plucked, the green tea leaves are ground into a very fine powder. Despite the recent popularity of Matcha coming from Japan, the grinding of tea leaves back thousands of years prior in China. The Japanese only started producing Matcha when monk Eisai brought tea seeds over to Japan in the 12th century.

Add 1 teaspoon (around 2 grams) into a bowl or cup, and fill with freshly boiled water. Then, whisk the mixture in a zig-zig direction until a frothy liquid appears.
We package all of our teas in resealable bags made of wood pulp starch. When placed in a composting environment, they will break down to compost within 3 months.
