An exquisite large and slightly-twisted green tea, with an exciting floral and sweet flavour and a delicate mouthfeel. The leaves are said to resemble the claws of a monkey, hence the name.
This tea has been grown in Fuding County, Fujian Province, south-east China. The leaves are picked in spring, pan-fired to stop oxidisation from taking place, then slightly twisted.
