
Jin Mu Dan, known in English as Golden Peony, is a roasted black tea with a pleasant nutty aroma and delicious fruity flavour with charcoal and dark chocolate notes.
These leaves are grown in the depths of the famous Wuyi Mountains in China's Fujian Province. The large, slightly-twisted leaves are produced by hand by our partners in Wuyishan.

Infuse 1 heaped teaspoon (around 2 grams) in 95°C water for 3-5 minutes. The result should a fine golden-orange coloured liquor.
We package all of our teas in resealable bags made of wood pulp starch. When placed in a composting environment, they will break down to compost within 3 months.
